I earnestly desired to have the
discipleship book Sense &
Sensibility, written by
Miriam Nadler, to be translated into Russian so women could be discipled
and encouraged to live out the calling that God has placed on their
lives. I was so blessed that the Lord provided a way to have this book
translated and printed just in time for our trip.
What a joy to see God’s fingerprint in
our lives. Indeed, the Lord answers our prayers and fulfils the desire
of our hearts. Your prayers and support made a difference. It is always
of the highest privilege to serve our Lord. Think about it. What matters
most in our lives? Is it the education we receive, the status we attain,
or success we achieve through our hard work and tireless efforts? All
these things are great, but the very best is to grow and mature in the
image of Messiah and to honor God with our lives. It is being able at
the end of our day to rest our head on the pillow and know that this day
was lived for the Lord, and by His grace and empowerment someone’s life
was touched, someone was encouraged to go on, someone’s burden got a
little lighter, and the light of Messiah shined a little brighter.
Our lives matter to God. Our testimony
of His faithfulness makes a difference. The decisions we make and the
roads we take will change everything. Therefore, the mandate of older
women teaching younger women is of vital significance.
During this trip to Berlin, we were
able not only to teach a seminar, but also to give a copy of the book to
each woman in order to continue the discipleship of women in their
congregation. I believe with all my heart that the Lord will greatly
bless and encourage women to serve Him and honor Him as a result of this
material.
Thank you for changing this world for
Messiah, one person at a time.
Shalom,
