Every week we receive requests and
reports regarding our materials, and the effect they are having upon
people in our nation’s prisons. With the help of
Hope of Israel Congregation we are able to minister to those
desiring to turn their lives around:
Inmate/AL: God is truly at work here at ***, and we see Him
working in the lives of broken men, but the fields are still “white unto
harvest” ...the brokenness [here] is a blessing, as it brings so many to
a place where they can truly experience Yeshua!
Inmate/CA: I am a Messianic Gentile Believer at *** State Prison,
and I want to humbly thank you for sending me your edifying book titled
Messianic Wisdom. I am passing it around to fellow-brethren (we are
about 12 in a yard of 1200) who are also Messianic Believers in Yeshua
and together seeking the Judaic-Hebraic roots of the faith... We are
finding it difficult to obtain Messianic literature and materials to aid
and help us.
Inmate/VA: Speaking of donations to the chapel library I see that
our “Jewish shelf” is full and keeps getting fuller! I’ve noticed
several books from Word of Messiah Ministries, and also know that a few
have been already checked out. Your generous donation will help to bring
a greater understanding of Messianic Judaism as well as enrich and
enhance the faith of countless men. Toda Rabbah!! (Thank You very much)
Inmate/RI: After having shared your books and Shmooze Letters
with people there is a definite desire to have access to more of this
line of material.
Inmate/AL: I have been very active at the ***, our ‘church behind
walls’, and I thank God that He has been growing me in what can only be
described as an awesome relationship experience. I serve as an inmate
pastor.... God has blessed me with opportunities to serve Him and share
His love with a broken populace. One of the things I’ve been working on
is accumulating as much education that I can concerning the Jewish roots
of Christianity to teach in our church and dorm.
Chaplain/FL: Dear WMM, We do not want these men to leave our
Facility as smarter crooks. We want them to leave as men who, through
the grace of the Lord, have CHANGED... to become an asset to their
community, not a liability…we have baptized more than 500 men
since…1995. With your continued assistance and congregations like yours
we can continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
“Remember my chains. Grace be with you. Amen.”- Paul from prison,
Colossians 4:18.
Because of your generous support we are able to send materials free of
charge to prisons every week. Thank you so much. Please remember to pray
for these men and women, particularly during the holiday season.
