When
Sam Nadler was growing up in Queens, New York, his Jewishness aroused many
unanswered questions. Shortly after his Orthodox Bar Mitzvah at the age of 13, Sam gave up any
pretense of religious involvement.
In fact, it wasn't until he came to faith in Messiah Jesus that he
realized his Jewishness wasn't just some accident of nature, but that God had a
plan and purpose, not only for the Jewish people as a whole, but for Sam
personally.
During his years in college, and later in the army, Sam basically sought
to find whatever satisfaction and happiness was available in an otherwise
confusing world. While in his early twenties, when first meeting some believers
in Jesus, Sam laughed at them, thinking "what an awful waste of time"
all religion was.
He was challenged to attend a Bible study.
As Sam looked at some Old Testament prophecies, they seemed to point to
Jesus.
At first it appeared to be just a coincidence, but over a period of
months, while believers prayed, Sam found himself facing the fact that Jesus is
indeed the true Messiah of Israel.
After accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior, Sam felt led of God to prepare
to tell his people that the Messiah has come.
He attended Simpson Bible College in San Francisco and graduated from
Northeastern Bible College in New Jersey, while with Jews for Jesus.
For several years Sam led an evangelistic team, traveling throughout the
United States and Israel proclaiming the Good News through Jewish gospel music
and drama.
He then began the Jews for Jesus outreach in New York City, and for the
next four years saw many Jews and Gentiles come to
faith in Messiah through weekly Bible studies and evangelistic outreaches.
About
Miriam Nadler
Raised in a non-Jewish home, Miriam came to
faith in high school. It was in Bible College she was discipled by a Jewish
believer and accepted God’s call to Jewish ministry.
She served as a missionary to the Jews in New York City and Israel with Chosen People Ministries (1967-73), before meeting Sam.
Together they served with Jews for
Jesus (73-79) in their mobile evangelistic team, The
Liberated Wailing Wall, then in the NYC branch, before Sam accepted several
leadership roles in Chosen People
Ministries (CPM).

In
1989, Sam was asked to assume the leadership of the worldwide missionary
outreach of CPM and served as their president through September 1996. In November 1996, Sam began Word of Messiah Ministries (WMM).
Continuing in their ever-increasing outreach to Jewish people with the
Good News of Messiah Jesus, WMM is evangelizing, discipling, congregation planting and training leaders for ministry in the U.S. and around the world. |
