Ministry in Germany! |

It is simply amazing to see what God is doing in Germany these days. This was our second visit to Beit Hesed a Messianic Congregation of mostly Russian speaking Jews in Dusseldorf. Beit Hesed means House of Grace in Hebrew and it is evident that God is pouring out His grace into the lives of people there. Last year at the Shabbat service, Sam ministered through a special Purim message and there was a great response. |

After Sam’s message this year there was a similar response as many people indicated their desire to rededicate themselves to walk closer with the Lord. To add to the excitement and blessing of the Shabbat service it concluded with five people being immersed. As they shared their testimonies of God’s eternal love for them two Jewish young men, who are zealous to live for Yeshua, especially touched my heart. These young men will surely be taking up the mantel of leadership to continue God’s work among His people. Sam also taught seminars for several days regarding the person and work of the Holy Spirit. The 12 hours of teaching was video taped for future use. Much of the teaching that Sam gave is in his Russian discipleship book Growing in Messiah and was also available for further study. Making Disciples through sound teaching is always of vital importance. We continue to see that as believers are taught and well grounded in the truth of God’s Word then the Good News will be furthered more effectively. Since there are many Russian Jews coming to faith, the need for further instruction is vital. Our materials are translated into Russian but as younger people are responding to the Gospel and growing up quickly, we can see a future need for translation into German as well.
